Day 169: Yoga at 6:30 a.m.!

Muhahahahahaha! Such feats can only be celebrated with such hearty, self-appreciating laughters!

Before going to bed yesterday night, I had planned to go for 8 a.m. yoga this morning. No matter what. I had not been for yoga for almost 1.5 months now, thanks to all the work and travelling that was happening. So I was really determined to start again and decided 8 a.m. would be a good time to go. However, it so happened that at 0515 hours I found myself awake. Having realized that I was way too early, I decided to go back to sleep. Just as the thought got processed in my brain, my hubby who was obviously having a colourful dream, punched me in my eye.

After I tended to my red and teary eye for a few minutes, I realized that I was in no mood to go back to bed. I kinda figured that my hubby was merely a messenger conveying the universe's plan for me, which was to make it for 6:30 a.m yoga. Today was to be the day when this great event takes place.

So there. I went. And I almost died.

Looks like yoga on an empty-stomach when you are not-hydrated-enough in that freaking-hot-room at such insanely-early-hours especially when this is the first-class-in-1.5-months isn't something one can do for fun. Unless of course fun means horrendous dizziness and nausea during the class followed by a splitting headache for the rest of the day.

But as you can see I only almost died. Which means I didn't. Instead am feeling pretty proud of myself. This is something I never ever in my wildest imagination thought I could pull off, even for 1 day. So inspite of the dizziness and nausea and headache, I still feel it was worth it!

  1. yeah baby..way to go..require enough n more motivation to kick start my yoga this saturday after almost 3 yrs of least activity...:)
