Today was Shivaratri and I decided to go the temple. If I were back at home in Kerala I might have been involved in the festivities associated with this auspicious day but here in Singapore, going to the temple was just about it for me.
But it was an awesome temple visit!
I chose a little corner and stood there with my eyes closed, unaffected by the crowd and chaos, not intending to meditate but ending up meditating anyway, for a really long time. It felt incredibly peaceful!
It was a perfect Shivaratri for me!
