After waking up at a reasonably early hour for a Sunday, we made our way to the temple to say a quick Thank You to God. I was pleased to find out that the temple, which is usually rather crowded and noisy, was not at all that way today! There were very few people and the majority of them was sitting in one corner and singing prayers in a group. I found it really peaceful and serene and loved being there!
Breakfast was at the awesome Lakshmi Narasimhan, one of the best South Indian places in Singapore, which has reopened after a few months of being shut down! Their spicy Andhra dosa is super awesome! I enjoyed that with vada, idli and a cup of steaming filter coffee over some fun conversation with a couple of friends we ran into there!
Then we caught the film 'Descendants', which had a very nice, light take on an otherwise usually morbid backdrop of death. I quite enjoyed that too!
Then there was dinner at Absolute Thai with friends, brother and sister in law ...(really awesome food, albeit being pretty spicy at times) and ice cream!
Lovely, relaxed, beautiful day!
Thus we move on to the sixth year of marital bliss!
