Then there are other days when I feel absolutely elated. For no particular reason too. Nothing spectacluar would have happened at work or in my personal life, yet I would feel like life can't be any better.
Today, luckily was one of the latter. I am unable to point out what really made me hop n skip today. But all I can say is that I found every single thing beautiful. I think I spent the day smiling more than my average and just felt pretty excited overall!
The bus ride to work in the morning was beautiful.
The fact that I completed an utterly pointless novel called "An atlas of impossible longing" was beautiful. (Yeah the title is super mushy and I bought it only coz it was by an Indian author but I guess I should have judged this book by its cover).
Somehow office and everyone in it was beautiful (now, that is something that has never happened before.)
The business documents I wrote were beautiful. (At least in my eyes. My manager did not share the enthusiasm though).
Redoing the film production schedule for the umpteenth time was beautiful.
Yoga class was beautiful.
Booking "Indian vegetarian" meal on Singapore Airlines for my upcoming business trips was beautiful.
The second day of enormous thunder clouds that lingered around without really giving any rain, was beautiful.
Spending 3.5 hours on editing one horribly shot scene was also surprisingly beautiful.
In short, it was one kickass beautiful day for no particular reason.
817 more to go.
And your ability to appreciate the beauty and goodness..beautiful :)
